From the age of 16, Tracy Guy White, a.k.a. Tracy White, a.k.a. Spacy Guy began embarking on his musical journey.  Self-taught, Tracy plays numerous instruments, while mainly focusing on his versatile vocal abilities.  Being a native of New Jersey, he performed for many years with various bands playing throughout New Jersey, as well as the tri-state area.  

     In the early 90’s, Tracy got signed to a European record label Now & Then Records.  He performed as lead vocal and guitarist with Shotgun Symphony.  The band toured The United Kingdom and various European Countries for most of the decade, opening up for acts such as WhiteSnake, Tyketto, Lynch Mob, and many other artists.  After gaining well-deserved success in Europe as well as Japan, the musical culture began to shift from the 80’s style to the Grunge era.  Tracy took a hiatus, while other band members branched off to doing many different projects. 

          Forging his musical influences from the late 60’s, throughout the 70’s, and into the early 80’s, he’s blended a sound of nostalgic feel good music, while ascending into a futuristic flair.  A study of mixing old school techniques with new school production, without sounding too processed.  

     Spacy Guy and The Planetarians aim to record in a mostly real instrument format while bringing a message of fun, peace and unity, with a little retrospective.  As a listener, and hopefully a new fan, you are seeing this project from the seed of Spacy Guy, a lone identity, through the process of auditioning and forming his Planetarian bandmates.
